Wow, we are getting so close to moving into the new building and along with that we are starting new curriculum in LifeKIDS!!! In a few weeks our 12 week volunteer schedule will come to an end and it is time to create a new one!! We have several volunteer opportunities available for YOU to serve in LifeKIDS!! The last two weeks from Steven Furtick have been awesome on “Found Favor”!!

“I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.” Leviticus 26:9

Frame your world with favor.
Open your eyes to opportunity.
Give yourself to obedience.
FOG
Follow hard after Jesus and his favor will follow you!!!

As we seek Him daily, he will look upon us with favor!! Make time for your relationship with Christ and recognize the favor and opportunity he has placed in front of you! It is not always easy but it is so worth it!!

Around Life

There's a lot happening at Life Church and it's so much fun to be a part of.

The building project is coming along really well. Be sure and check out the Facebook page to see updates and pictures. Remember, this isn't about having a building. It's about having another incredible resource to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with more people. I'm fired up about this.

Sunday was great. We wrapped up the series Found Favor with Steven Furtick. Be sure and watch this and know what the favor of God is all about.

As volunteers you inspire those around you! Here are a few key verses that spoke to me as I think and pray over our volunteers both current and those that haven’t yet taken the first step to serve!

Generosity:
" A generous man will prosper, he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."
Proverbs 11:25

Humility:
rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!
Philippians 2:7-8

Gifts:
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
1 Corinthians 12:4

Light:
He says, "It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also make You a light of the nations
So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."-
Isaiah 49:6

Life Church Franklin happens each week because of an amazing team of volunteers that serve with their hearts and hands to bring others to become fully devoted followers of Christ and I personally thank God daily for them!!

Around Life

- Sunday started an amazing new series called "Samson". If you're a guy you need to take a few minutes to watch this.

 

- The new building location at Whistle Stop Mall is really coming along. Electrical and Framing inspections are done and insulation goes in this week with sheet rock going up next week! Continue to pray for this amazing location to bring us more opportunity to reach more people with the Gospel.
